What have you learnt in the past month?
In the past months I learnt how to make an animation gif, how English people dump their convicts at a suitable land, how old hulks are used, I learnt how captain cook became the captain of endeavorand I also learnt how the English peoples trade and travel around the world.
What did you do to help yourself learn?
I looked up the internet to find about something I don’t know.
What did you do that made it difficult for you to learn well?
I sometimes get distracted by my friends.
Who did you work with? Were these effective (good) working relationships?
I worked with Annette on tags, Peter on convict cartoon, Saami on the hanging photo and the hulks, and Jomas on cook’s mission and atlas find. We worked well together.
How did you go with meeting your goals for the semester?
I did really well with meeting my goals
During the past few weeks:
I have learnt about first fleet, early convicts, the tall ships, photo story, how to sail a boat and some famous convicts.
I most enjoyed the SOSE class is on excursions and the photo story.
My attitude has been good and I have been focused on to my work.
My behaviour is has been the same.
My interim report in the subject indicated that I should keep it up and don’t let it down.
I have worked really well on the task given.
I have not done my best on this term because I have been training in soccer too much.
My greatest strength is coming in class on time.
The two areas of my learning that I want to focus on improving are:
1. Giving out work on time
2. do my work and never give up
I am happy with my work this term
Eastern Kulin
Eastern kulins lived in central victoria
Smoke signals were used to send messages to other clans when travelling
they use the stars to navigate at night
they use woods to make fire, weapons and houses
The Wirrigiri or messengers held a special status. Among the Kulin, they were allowed to pass through the country from one clan territory to another without fear of attack
Aboriginal unit
During the Aboriginal unit I most enjoyed our SOSE class on watching videos, looking at the aboriginal regions and clans and when the class told how the aboriginal’s were treated.
During the Aboriginal unit I least enjoyed the SOSE class on (I enjoyed it all).
SOSE (Me and My World) is boring but interesting when the teacher tells us more about more about it.
During this first semester in SOSE I have done good and never got kicked out of the class for being bad.
I work best when the class’s is working quietly but solid.
I have not worked enough when the class has been talking too much.
I wish that we do more group work or games.
My attitude to homework has been decreased because I sometimes have no time to do it.
My Semester 1 report will show that I am doing well on this subject.
The area/s in which I have shown greatest improvement
My teacher always helps when I need it.
My teacher makes me do my work in lunchtimes, when I don’t do my work.
I think that our class wiki is never getting used because everyone can’t be bother going on it.
High Expectations means something doing your best, listening and focusing on the teacher.
I have shown high expectations when I listen to the teacher and concentrate on my work and do my best.
A second example of how I have demonstrated high expectations is when I focused on the teacher

I have used class time not effectively because I sometimes get distracted by other students.

I still have to edit my group’s pod cast about graffiti.

What are two weaknesses you need to continue to work on?
I get distracted easily on computers and I loose focus on my work.
I have most enjoyed working about graffiti. We express our opinion and our views about wether it’s a crime or its art.
I have learned that we shouldn’t pierce any part of our body when we turn 15 or we have health issues.
I have shown high expectations when I try my best to finish the set task.
I have demonstrated the following skills and abilities which will help me to succeed at Year 10 next year:

Never giving up
Doing my work at the best of my ability
Students in 9P2 never concentrate on their work.

My goal for semester 2 was doing my best of my ability, be consistent and try to give all the set work given to pass year 9. I completed two of them but I need to do 1 more to finish my goals for this semester.

I believe the most important things I have learnt are:

Water conservation

I think the best lesson is the water conservation project because I learnt a lot about our water and we get to design a water efficient future house at the future

Yes, I do have high expectation in this subject. I always try to complete my work and al ways listen.

Yes, im happy with my progress.

6 times I have been recognise in the hall of fame. I feel very happy about it.

My teacher always tries to keep everyone to graduate to year 10. he helps everyone as he could. He let someone know what he has not done. He give slips to everyone who hadn’t finish their work.
